the mural

Our mural is a statement to the surrounding community about who we want to be.  We wanted to add to the rich history of art found throughout The Heights area as well as showcase our identity as a business.

Throughout the mural, you will find references to the City of Houston.  From the skyline to the sports teams, a huge part of our identity is that we love and exist for the City of Houston.

We also take diversity seriously - all the cherubs on our mural bring something different to the table, and they are all engaged and excited to be there.

Finally, in the middle of the mural, you can find our slogan, “Love People. Love Coffee.” on one of the cherub’s shirts. Because when you boil it down, that’s what we’re really about: people and coffee.

We packed a lot of different things into this work of art, and we are incredibly proud of it.  We hope you swing by and take a picture with it. When you do, be sure to share your fun with us by tagging us on social media with @thecoffeehousehtx #thecoffeehousehtx.

This mural was a creative collaboration with French, Houston-based artist Sebastien “Mr. D” Boileau of Eyeful Design, who also designed several other Houston murals, including the iconic Montrose Paint Wall.
